diy baby headband

I'm officially 41 weeks and yup that means I'm still pregnant. I honestly didn't think I would make it to my due date let alone go past it. So now the waiting game kicks up a notch with baby having not much longer to 'come out' before it gets 'evicted'.

In the meantime I had tried to find a headband to take to the hospital in case this little one is a girl but couldn't seem to find any in the stores so I decided to make my own. I got a metre of stretch lace on sale for $0.40 then used some ribbon I already had and a button from those little hotel sewing kits. I measured T's head and it was 17 inches so I made this headband 10 inches thinking it looked about right. It only took about 10 minutes to put together and voila!
I tried to find something baby head sized (does that phrase even make sense?) to get a better picture and this was the best I could come up with...
*BTW excuse the poor photos our camera decided to quite working last week and has to be sent in to get fixed so we're stuck using a cheap-o camera at the moment. Yah, good timing.... oh and did I mention my doula bailed on me 2 days before my due date? True story.
